3 carrots, diced 1 med. onion, diced 2 med. potatoes, diced 5 c. chicken broth 2 tbsp. butter 2 c. milk 3 tbsp. cornstarch 1/4 tsp. nutmeg Minced parsley 1/2 c. celery, diced 1 c. ham, diced 1 c. grated cheese 1 sm. jar Cheez Whiz Salt and pepper to taste Cook carrots, onion, potatoes, celery in chicken broth until tender; add ham. Cook cornstarch and milk until it thickens. Add cheese, butter and nutmeg. Cook until cheese melts and add salt, pepper and parsley. Add to vegetables and ham and simmer. Yield: 6-8 servings. |
