BEST EVER MEATLOAF | |
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 tbsp. Angostura bitters 1 med. onion 1/4 c. flavored bread crumbs (preferably 4 c. brand) Crumble beef in a large bowl. Add tomato sauce. Grate or finely chop onion and add. Add bitters and bread crumbs. Use a long tonged fork and cut ingredients through meat until fully blended. Separate in half. Shape each half into an oblong loaf patting until firm. Place side by side in a shallow baking pan. Bake in oven 1 hour at 400 degrees or until brown. Serve with white rice or mashed potatoes and corn. |
