NAN'S COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 c. cake flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. raisins
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and vanilla. Sift flour and soda. Add alternately with sour cream. Pour 1/2 of the batter into a greased and floured spring form pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the topping. Pour rest of the batter and sprinkle with remaining topping. Bake 50 minutes at 350 degrees.
