DEVILED CHUCK | |
2 lbs. chuck roast, cut in pieces Flour 2 tbsp. drippings 1 tbsp. paprika 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tsp. dry mustard 1/4 c. vinegar 1/2 c. water 4 lg. dry onions, sliced Dredge meat in flour and brown in drippings. Add seasonings, liquid and onions on top. Cook slowly on top of stove or bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours. Add more water and vinegar if needed. |
