HOT APPLESAUCE WITH RUM 
1 (#2) can applesauce
1 (#2) can sliced pineapple, drained
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. cornstarch or more
Dash of cinnamon
Dash of cloves
Dash of nutmeg
2 tbsp. rum
1/4 c. toasted slivered almonds

In a small saucepan cut pineapple into small pieces. Add applesauce heat set aside.

In a small saucepan combine lemon juice, cornstarch, allspice and rum. Cook until thickened. Mix all together just before serving. Sprinkle with almonds.
