SWEET-SOUR SPARERIBS 
3 lbs. pork spareribs
1/3 c. flour
1/3 c. soy sauce
3/4 c. vinegar
1 c. water
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
1 inch ginger root
8 oz. pineapple (canned)

Cut spareribs into 2 x 2 inch pieces. Marinate them in flour and soy sauce for 30 minutes. Brown in cooking oil. Add rest of ingredients and simmer for 45 minutes or until tender. May serve with chunks of fresh or canned pineapple.
