PORK CHOPS WITH APRICOT MUSTARD
GLAZE
 
4 pork chops, 3/4 inch thick
1/2 tsp. garlic salt

APRICOT-MUSTARD GLAZE:

1/4 c. apricot preserves
2 tbsp. coarse grained or Dijon mustard

Rub both sides of chops with garlic salt. Grill chops over a medium to low flame, 4-6 inches away for 15 minutes, turning once. Brush with glaze. Cook additional 10 minutes or until done, brushing frequently with glaze.

Excellent recipe - we really enjoyed it. Our chops were a little thinner, so remember to adjust the cooking time accordingly. If the jam starts to 'catch', add a little water. We used a griddle pan - which may have been a mistake. Nevertheless, the flavour was perfect.
