TACO SALAD 
16 oz. can refried beans
1/2 lb. ground beef or ground turkey
1 jar med. salsa
1 can tomato paste
Chili powder
8 oz. sour cream
1/2 c. Miracle Whip
1 env. taco seasoning
Black olives
1 tomato
Scallions
8 oz. mozzarella cheese, shredded
Taco chips (unsalted are fine)

1st Layer: Refried beans, warmed in pan.

2nd Layer: Brown beef (turkey) in skillet. Add jar of salsa to browned beef. Add chili powder to taste. Add 1 teaspoon of tomato paste.

3rd Layer: 8 ounce sour cream, 1/2 cup Miracle Whip and 1/2 envelope of taco seasoning (mix these together).

4th Layer: 1 chopped scallion, 1 chopped tomato, black olives, chopped, mozzarella cheese. Put together in pie plate or rectangular pan, by layers. Warm in oven (350 degrees) until cheese melts. Serve with taco chips.
