SOUR CREAM SWEET POTATO PIE 
3 c. cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
1 c. sugar
2 lg. eggs
2/3 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 stick butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
Salt (pinch)

Separate egg yolks from whites. Mix all ingredients together, reserving egg whites for meringue. Put ingredients into DEEP DISH pie shell and bake at 350 degrees until ALMOST done (approximately 1 hour). Remove from oven and top with meringue made from egg whites. Return to oven (approximately 15 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees) and cook until meringue is brown. Cool and serve.
