CHOCOLATE CHEESE CAKE 
1 box Duncan Hines chocolate devil's food cake mix
1/2 c. melted butter
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. Cool Whip (optional)

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Reserve 1 cup of dry cake mix.

Combine the remaining mix with melted butter. Blend with pastry blender until crumbly. Press evenly in greased, floured 9x13 inch pan. Blend the softened cream cheese, sugar, eggs and reserved cake mix at medium speed of mixer for 1 minute.

At low speed, add milk and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Pour into crust. Bake for 55-65 minutes; cool for 1 hour; refrigerate. When completely set, top with Cool Whip.
