1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. almond extract (opt.)
2 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Beat with electric mixer, butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; blend together and cream mixture. Chill 1 hour. Roll out dough on lightly floured board to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut out with floured cutters, place on ungreased cookie sheet, bake until lightly browned. Bake at 350 degrees.

2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. half & half
