CHINESE FRIED RICE | |
1 1/2 c. water 1 1/2 c. Minute rice 1 egg, beaten 3 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. onion, chopped 2-3 tbsp. soy sauce Bring 1 cup water to a boil in saucepan. Stir in rice. Remove from heat. Cover and let stand 5 minutes. Meanwhile cook egg in butter in a 10 inch skillet until set. Add onions, rice and cook. Stir over medium heat until lightly browned about 5 minutes. Combine remaining water and soy sauce. Stir in rice. Makes 3 cups or 4 servings. |
