BEACON HILL COOKIES 
2 lg. egg whites
1 dash of salt
1/2 tsp. white vinegar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
3/4 c. chopped walnuts

Melt chocolate over low heat until smooth. Let cool. Beat egg whites, salt, vinegar, and vanilla until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating to stiff peaks. Fold in cooled chocolate and chopped nuts. Drop on buttered cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 9-10 minutes. Watch carefully. Remove at once, cool on racks. Store in airtight container. Can be frozen.
