APPLE PIE IN PAPER BAG 
FILLING:

4 lg. apples, cut in chunks
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. lemon juice

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 stick butter

FILLING: Sprinkle over apples and put into 9-inch unbaked pie crust. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons lemon juice on mixture.

TOPPING: Mix together and put over apples and filling. Place in brown paper bag on cookie sheet. Bake 1 hour at 425 degrees. Pie will be bubbly and bag will not burn. Serve plain or with ice cream.
