PAPER BAG APPLE PIE 
9 inch pie shell
7 c. apples
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves

Sprinkle dry ingredients over apples. Put in shell and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons lemon juice. Prepare a topping consisting of 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup flour, pinch of cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Cut in 1 stick butter. Sprinkle over apples. Slip into brown paper bag. Fold it under and place on cookie sheet. Bake 1 hour at 425 degrees.
