MACARONI & BEEF CASSEROLE 
2 c. uncooked macaroni
1 lb. ground beef
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 can tomatoes
3/4 tsp. salt
1 can French fried onion

Cook macaroni. Brown ground beef in heavy pan. Add salt, tomatoes, soup and cheese. Bring to boil and stir in the cooked macaroni. Pour half of mixture into casserole. Add half the onions, then add rest of mixture. Cover and bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Uncover, top with rest of onion and bake uncovered 5 to 10 minutes longer.
