MACARONI AND BEEF CASSEROLE 
1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
1 med. onion, chopped
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/2 tsp. oregano
4 c. cooked elbow macaroni

Brown beef, sausage and onion. Drain fat. Add tomato paste, water, oregano, and salt. Simmer 5 minutes.

In a 2 1/2 quart casserole, layer half the macaroni, half the meat sauce, and half the cheese. Repeat layers using remaining ingredients. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or microwave on high for 10 minutes. 6 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
