CHERRY PITA 
1 3/4 c. coconut
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
2 egg yolks

FILLING:

1 lg. can cherry pie filling
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. almond flavoring

Mix together. Crumble and mix first 4 ingredients as for pie crust. Divide in half, a little more for bottom crust. To bottom crust add 2 egg yolks and mix well. Pat on bottom of 9 x 12 pan. Top with filling. Sprinkle remaining portion over top of filling. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes until lightly tan.
