3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. Crisco or butter
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder

Mix and cream the above ingredients and spread half of batter in 9 x 9 inch pan.

FILLING:

1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter

Mix the 4 ingredients above and sprinkle on batter in pan. Spread the remaining half of batter over above filling. Bake 20 minutes in 350 degree oven.
