DEATH BY CHOCOLATE | |
1 box chocolate cake mix 1 c. Kahlua (I used 1/2 c.) 4 boxes Jello chocolate mousse 4 Skor candy bars, crushed 2 med. tubs Cool Whip Bake cake as directed, using two 8 or 9 inch round cake pans. When cake cools, pierce holes with fork. Pour Kahlua over cakes. Cover with plastic and refrigerate overnight. Make 4 boxes of mousse using 4 cups of milk. In a large bowl, put one of the round cakes on the bottom of the bowl. Layer with half of the mousse, 1/3 of the candy and a layer of Cool Whip. Repeat same process (cutting up the other layer of cake in little pieces) cake, mousse, candy and Cool Whip; top with remaining crushed candy bar. (The longer you cool in the refrigerate, the firmer it gets!) 114, 963 calories/spoonful (ha-ha only kidding!) I used 8 boxes of Jello mousse with 4 cups of milk. (The more moose you use the darker/thicker the mousse will be.) |
