HEDDIE'S BANANA BAVARIAN CREAM 
2 packets unflavored gelatin
1 1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. sugar
6 egg yolks, beaten
4 egg whites, beaten
1 pt. whipping cream, whipped
Vanilla extract to taste
Bananas (1 or 2, to taste)

Mix gelatin, milk and sugar. Add egg yolks. Cook and stir until the mixture coats a spoon. Cool. Fold into the egg whites, whipped cream, vanilla and thinly sliced bananas. Pour into 3 loaf pans (preferably, glass). Chill. Slice and serve with lady fingers or vanilla wafers. NOTE: Do not overcook the custard; it will separate and you will have to start all over.
