BEER BREAD 
2 c. all-purpose self-rising flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1 (12 oz.) can beer
butter, melted

Gently mix together flour, sugar, and beer just until blended. Turn out into greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan (leave it a little bumpy on top; it looks nice). If using metal pan, bake in preheated 375 degree oven; if glass pan, in 350 degree oven. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until pick inserted in center comes out clean. Drizzle with butter. Turn out on rack, cool slightly.
