2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
4 heaping tbsp. cocoa
2 c. hot water
2 tsp. vanilla

Stir together the dry ingredients. Add oil and 1 cup of hot water; stir until lumps are gone. Add the other cup of hot water and blend well. Add beaten eggs and vanilla; stir. Pour into greased and floured 9"x13" pan; bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Don't use electric mixer for this cake!
