JODIE'S FAVORITE PECAN PIE 
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. light Karo syrup
1/2 c. milk
1 c. pecan halves

Mix together well all ingredients except pecans. Pour into an 8-9 inch pie shell (uncooked). Top with pecans, pressing pecans lightly into filling with a fork to coat. Bake in 400 degree preheated oven 15 minutes. Lower temperature to 300 degrees and cook an additional 20 minutes or until silver knife inserted in center comes out clean. (May take as much as 30 more minutes after the 20 minutes depending upon oven.)
