APPLE AND OAT BREAD 
3 c. pared apple
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. rolled oats
1 tsp. each baking soda, salt and cinnamon
1/2 c. raisins
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. water
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. oil

Combine apples, water and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Cook until apples are tender. Cool. Mix flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, salt and spices. Stir in remaining brown sugar, raisins and nuts. Add apple mixture, eggs and oil. Stir until just moist.

Pour into a greased 10 inch tube pan or two loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes.
