1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
4 egg yolks or 3 whole eggs
Pinch of salt
1 can evaporated milk

Beat egg yolks. Add to remaining ingredients except milk and cook until thick. Dilute to taste with evaporated milk. Makes a great dressing for potato salad.
