TURKEY OR CHICKEN CASSEROLE 
1 c. onion, finely chopped
1 c. green pepper, chopped
1 c. celery, cut in strips
1 stick butter
2 to 3 c. cooked chicken or turkey, diced
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
3 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 lg. can chow mein noodles
1 (3 oz.) pkg. slivered almonds

Lightly saute onion, pepper, and celery in butter. Combine turkey or chicken, mushrooms, and soup; add sauteed ingredients and blend well. Line casserole dish with noodles. Pour mixture over noodles and top with additional noodles and almonds. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
