BANANA-NUT-RAISIN BREAD
1/2 c. butter, soft
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
4 med. bananas, mashed
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. raisins

Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add bananas and mix until smooth.

Combine flour, baking powder, soda, and salt; add to creamed mixture, stirring just enough to moisten. Stir in chopped pecans and raisins. Pour batter into greased and floured 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes. Remove to wire rack to complete cooling. Yield: 1 loaf.
