CARAMEL THINS 
BOTTOM LAYER:

1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. evaporated milk

SECOND LAYER:

1 pkg. Kraft caramels
1/4 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. butter
1 c. powdered sugar

TOP LAYER:

12 oz. chocolate chips (real)
3 tbsp. butter

Combine ingredients for bottom layer. Press in bottom of 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

Melt caramels, 1/4 cup evaporated milk and 1/2 cup butter in microwave, checking and stirring after every minute until melted. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar. Blend well and spread on crust. Chill in refrigerator.

Melt chips and butter over very low heat. Spread on caramel layer. When chocolate is firm, cut into 1" squares.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
