PENNSYLVANIA SHOO FLY PIE | |
2 c. flour 1 c. sugar 1 tbsp. butter 1 c. dark baking molasses 1 c. boiling water 1 tsp. baking soda Mix together the flour, sugar, and butter until very finely crumbled. Add water to molasses and baking soda and beat until very foamy. Pour liquid mixture into two 8 inch pie pans. Divide crumb mixture and sprinkle evenly to cover the liquid. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 6-8. |
