SHOO-FLY PIE (1-8 INCH PIE) 
1 pkg. pie crust
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. molasses
2/3 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 c. boiling water
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour

Prepare pie crust mix according to directions on package. Line a pie plate, fluting a high edge. Combine flour with brown sugar, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse corn meal. Measure 1 cup and reserve for topping, pour remaining crumbs into pie shell.

Add soda to water, stir in molasses, pour over crumbs in pie shell. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over top. Bake in preheated oven (350 degrees) for 40 to 50 minutes or until crust is brown and filling puffed. Serve warm.
