WET BOTTOM SHOO FLY PIE 
CRUMBS:

1 c. flour
1 tbsp. shortening
2/3 c. sugar

Mix above for crumbs and reserve 1/2 cup crumbs for top of pie.

FILLING:

1 c. molasses
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg, beaten
1 c. very hot water

Mix above ingredients together and add to remaining crumbs. Stir until mixed; it will be lumpy. Pour into unbaked 9 inch pie shell. Put reserved 1/2 cup crumbs on top. May be frozen. Serves 6.
