BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
5 tbsp. butter
3 lg. bananas
1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 lg. Cool Whip
2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
Chopped nuts & cherries (opt.)

In 9"x13" pan, mix the cracker crumbs and 5 tablespoons butter, melted; press in bottom of pan.

In mixing bowl mix the 1 stick butter, confectioners' sugar, eggs and vanilla; beat well with electric mixer for 10 minutes. Spread mixture onto crust. Cut bananas lengthwise and place on mixture. Drain pineapple and spread over bananas. Spread Cool Whip on top and if desired top with nuts and cherries. Keep refrigerated, preferably overnight.
