PEPPY STUFFED PEPPERS 
4 green peppers
1 lb. ground beef
2 c. cooked rice (2/3 c. raw)
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 (8 oz.) cans Hunt's tomato sauce

Cut peppers in half lengthwise. Remove seeds and wash. Combine beef, rice, onion, salt, pepper, and 1/2 an tomato sauce. Pile mixture into peppers in large baking dish. Pour tomato sauce over each pepper. Cover tightly and bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 1 1/4 hours or until peppers are tender, basting occasionally. Makes 4-6 servings.
