LES'S FIREHOUSE LASAGNA 
1 box lasagna noodles
1 egg
1 sm. container cottage cheese, lg. curd
1/2 jar Romano cheese
4 c. Mozzarella cheese
1 lg. onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
1 med. can tomatoes
1 med. can tomato sauce
1 stick butter
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook lasagna as directed.

Brown the ground chuck and onion, green pepper and celery until soft, drain. Combine the tomatoes and tomato sauce with the meat mixture.

Combine egg, cottage cheese, Romano cheese and Mozzarella cheese in a bowl. I use the butter to grease the pan. Begin with a layer of noodles then beef mixture, then a layer of cheese mixture.

Alternate layers until the pan is filled, with final layer of cheese, for the top. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
