THICK SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
2 tbsp. butter Crisco
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
2 c. water
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. parsley flakes
2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. basil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
16 oz. spaghetti or macaroni

Saute onion, celery, and carrots in Crisco about 10 minutes. Add beef and brown, then drain. Add Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for about 5 minutes. Add other ingredients and simmer for 45 minutes. Serve over spaghetti.
