MAC'S TURKEY SPAGHETTI SAUCE
WITH MUSHROOMS

3 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. garlic, chopped (1 - 3 toes, depends on size)
3 c. fresh mushrooms, washed and sliced 1/8 inch thick
2 lb. ground turkey
6 (15 1/4 oz.) jars or 3 (31 oz.) jars Prego, no salt added spaghetti sauce or Ragu homestyle

Heat olive oil over low - medium heat until warm - hot. Add garlic and saute until begins to turn brown, 2 to 3 minutes. Add ground turkey and cook over medium heat until thoroughly cooked (5 to 10 minutes) stirring often to break up meat. Add mushrooms, cover and cook over low heat (5 to 10 minutes) until wilted. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer 1 to 2 hours, stirring frequently to avoid sticking. Keep covered. Serve over spaghetti with salad and garlic bread (French bread with butter and garlic powder). Sprinkle liberally with grated Parmesan and - or Romano. Any leftovers freeze well. Serves 10. Need 3 quart minimum container. Low fat, low salt, low cholesterol.
