CHOCOLATE CHIP POUND CAKE 
1 yellow cake mix (not with pudding added)
1 (3.9 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate pudding
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. oil
3/4 c. water
4 eggs
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Mix sugar, oil and water. Add cake mix, instant chocolate pudding, eggs, and sour cream. Mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan.

Bake at 325°F for 50 to 60 minutes. Cool in pan a few minutes and then turn out onto serving plate. Either sprinkle with powdered sugar or ice immediately while still hot with Chocolate Frosting.

Chocolate Frosting:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 (16 oz.) box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts, chopped (optional)

Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil. Pour over powdered sugar. Add vanilla and nuts. Frost cake while hot.
