BUTTER CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 c. butter, softened
2 c. confectioners sugar
2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 c. flour
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate mini morsels
Extra powdered sugar for tops of baked cookies

Cream butter and 2 cups powdered sugar; beat in vanilla and salt. Add flour; mix until blended. Stir in chocolate mini bits; dough will be stiff. Shape in 1-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with fork to 1 1/2 inch round. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, until light golden color. When cookies are still warm, sift with extra powdered sugar.
