EASY HOLLANDAISE SAUCE | |
The best and simplest! 3 or 4 egg yolks 4 tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter, divided 1 tsp. lemon juice garlic powder salt and pepper, to taste In a double boiler, place eggs (3 or 4 depending on how much sauce you want) in pan with half the butter and lemon juice (most recipes call for more lemon but then that's all you can taste). Stir until it starts to warm up (stir the entire time). Next add the remaining butter and spices to taste. Continue stirring until it is thick enough for you to blow in it and it holds a rose when you blow. And then your done! Note: If you do not have a double boiler, you may use a glass bowl over a saucepan of water. Submitted by: A.Boria |
