MOCK HOLLANDAISE SAUCE | |
1 stick butter 1-1/2 cups stiff mayonnaise 2 tablespoon horseradish 1 small onion, finely chopped 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons pepper vinegar or tarragon vinegar Place all ingredients in a quart jar and set in a pan of hot water on a low heat. Stir until well blended. Pour over vegetables just before serving. While this is mainly for serving over green beans or other green vegetables, it also makes a good sauce for seafood. Keeps well in the refrigerator. Serving Size: 4 |
