1 lb. hamburg 1 sm. head cabbage 1 onion, sliced Accent Lumpia wrappers 2 cloves garlic or minced garlic Salt and pepper to taste 1 carrot, shaved 5 tbsp. soy sauce Chop and slice all vegetables fine. Mix with hamburg and seasonings (Accent). Add about 2 tablespoons oil to large fry pan and cook hamburg mix until done. Drain off excess fat and add rest of vegetables and seasoning. Cook on low heat for 20 minutes. Take 2 tablespoons of mixture and place into lumpia wrapper. Roll leaving ends open. Add small amount of oil to fry pan and cook on all sides until brown. Serve with Sweet and Sour sauce. Makes about 30. You can use pork, shrimp, mushrooms or any combination you choose. These may be frozen ahead of time. After you roll them up, wrap them up individually in wax paper and freeze. Take out and cook frozen. |
