NO NAMED DIP 
1 lg. round Pumpernickel bread, cold (This may have to be special ordered ahead from bakery)

1 pt. sour cream
1 pt. mayonnaise
2 tsp. dill weed or seed
2 tsp. minced onion
2 tbsp. parsley flakes
2 pkgs. dried beef or 8 oz. of corned beef, cut into sm. shredded pieces
2 tsp. Beau Monde (seasoning)

Cut the top off the bread and scoop all the bread out of the center leaving a shell. Cut the scooped out bread into pieces easy to handle for dipping. An extra loaf may be needed but don't be surprised when your guests start tearing apart the shell and dipping that too!

Prior to serving, pour the dip into the hollowed out Pumpernickel bread shell.

This is good for a large crowd.
