LEMON POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. soft butter
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. flour
2 tbsp. lemon extract
3/4 c. 7-Up

Cream sugar and butter. Beat well until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each egg. Add flour alternating with 7-Up and lemon extract. Bake in greased and floured tube pan or 2 loaf pans at 325 degrees for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
