ELCY'S PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE | |
2 c. sugar 1 can cream (evaporated milk) 1/4 tsp. butter 1 tbsp. vanilla 2 tbsp. marshmallow creme 2 heaping tbsp. peanut butter Mix sugar, cream and butter in large saucepan. When mixture is beginning to get real thick, add marshmallow creme. When candy is almost cooked, add vanilla. Cook on low heat. As mixture gets thick, test in saucer with spoon. Put sample of mixture in saucer and stir with the spoon. Continue to test mixture until spoon stands up in the saucer. When spoon stands up in the candy in the saucer, the candy is done. Remove from stove and add peanut butter. Mix well. Pour on a buttered cookie sheet and cut into squares. |
