BARBECUED BEANS | |
1 (15 or 16 oz.) can kidney beans 1 (15 or 16 oz.) lima beans 1 (15 or 16 oz.) pork and beans 2 tsp. prepared mustard 1/2 c. catsup 1 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. vinegar 1/2 lb. bacon, (7 or 8 slices), crumble after cooking 1 lb. hamburger 1 c. chopped onion Spray pan/dish first with Pam. Cook bacon medium done. Drain off all grease. Brown hamburger and onion. Drain off grease from this as well. In large baking pan/dish mix together all of the beans, mustard, catsup, brown sugar, vinegar, bacon, hamburger and onion. Bake 1/2 hour with a lid, 1/2 hour without a lid. If you double this recipe bake 45 minutes with lid and 45 minutes without lid. |
