CRISP OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. raisins

Cream shortening, add sugar gradually creaming until light and fluffy. Add one egg at a time, beating after each addition, add vanilla mixing well. Sift flour, soda, baking powder and salt together, combine with cream mixture.
