GRANDMA'S ONION KUGEL 
6 eggs, separated
2 c. onions, chopped very fine
1/3 c. cooking oil
1/3 c. matzo meal
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Beat egg yolks until creamy. Add onions, oil, matzo meal, salt and pepper; mix well. Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into onion mixture. Pour into an oiled 2 quart casserole. Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees or until knife comes out clean when inserted into the center of casserole. 6 servings.
