SWISS ONION RING
1 (1 lb.) loaf frozen ready dough
2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
6 tbsp. melted butter
3/4 c. finely chopped green onion
2 tbsp. poppy seeds
1/4 tsp. salt (opt.)

1. Let frozen dough thaw until pliable. (To thaw in microwave oven, place frozen dough in a plastic bag or cover with plastic wrap. Cook on LOW power for 6 minutes, rotating occasionally.)

2. Mix together remaining ingredients.

3. Cut thawed loaf into 20 pieces (if using roll dough, cut each roll in half).

4. Arrange half of dough pieces in bottom of greased ring mold or tube pan.

5. Cover dough with half of cheese mixture.

6. Top with remaining dough pieces.

7. Spread the remaining cheese mixture on top. Let rise until doubled.

8. Bake in 375 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
