FRESH APPLE NUT BREAD 
4 c. chopped apples
2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. oil
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped nuts

TOPPING:

1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. soft butter
1/4 c. chopped nuts

Combine dry ingredients. Cream together sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla; add to the dry ingredients. Add chopped apples and nuts. Put into 2 well greased and floured bread pans. Mix topping and sprinkle on top. Bake at 325 degrees about 1 hour. Cool before slicing.
